Church location

  • 3 First Avenue, Eastwood (Corner of First Ave & East Pde)
  • 5 minutes walk from Eastwood Railway and Bus Station

Parking, trains, buses

  • Parking is available on First Avenue,  East Parade and  Second Avenue
  • Car must be parked rear to the curb for most spots on East Parade
  • Parking at the church is limited.  We encourage priority given to the elderly and those with physical disabilities
  • Train and bus services to Eastwood Railway Station.  For timetables please see the 131500 Transport Info website.
  • Eastwood Railway Station is on the yellow Northern Line and on the Newcastle & Central Coast Line.

What should I expect at Church?

  • Warmly welcomed when you arrive to worship in our Church Services
  • Given a bulletin with the latest Church information
  • Given a copy of the printed sermon if requested
  • Guided to your seat or you may sit where you are most comfortable
  •  Services include singing, Bible reading, children’s talk and sermon
  • Communion once a month in the morning and evening services
  • Light refreshment – tea, coffee, cold drinks and light snacks in the hall after the morning service
  • Making friends and having fellowship

Children’s program

  • Sunday School is available during our 11am morning service and it starts at 11:00 am
  • There is no children’s program in the 9:30am or 6pm service but they are encouraged to attend with you.

What should I wear?

  • We do not have a dress code
  • Wear what you feel comfortable in, casual or formal

How can I meet new people?

Access for people with physical disabilities

  • Disabled parking is available on the church groundT-coil
  • There is a ramp for wheelchair access into the church
  • People can also be dropped off next to the church entrance.

There is a T-coil loop in the Church for people with hearing aids on certain seats.

Am I expected to give money when the offering is collected?

  • Do not feel obligated to put money into the offering bag when it is passed around.
  • This is a part of the service where regular attendees have the opportunity to contribute financially to support the work of the Church.
  • The money received is used to meet all the normal expenditures of a Church, including salaries and wages, support for missionaries, utility services, and property insurance and maintenance.
